Hey that's an idea - I have 4 or 5 6P3S-E sitting. Thanks, didn't think those would work with a 4100ohm OPT.I am looking at Eico HF-87 schematics to build (can you tell I dig the old stuff?) Not sure if 235ohm cathode resistor would be right for 6P3S-E output tubes. Would be pentode, not UL though.
Diode rectification, beefy PS with choke. I recycle aluminum chassis from old test gear I disassemble.
