I would place it at the amp input. Much easier and outside the feedback loop as suggested by CB. Bandwidth-limiting the input to amps like this is a common practice. Numerous ST-70 mods contained both a HP and LP function.
In your case the HP filter frequency can just be moved higher to your preference.
