RE: DYNACO Low Power amp with EL34 instead of EL84

To Eli's point, complicate that schematic a wee bit. Use a CCS and built the input stage into a LTP. Keep the B+ low and run Class A bias. Attach the LTP to their corresponding screen taps instead of another de-coupled supply and do away with the loop NFB.

You'll need some negative voltage for the CCS to work into, and you might as well have it do double duty as a bias supply. For a first cut, a 6SL7 should work OK...you can move to a pentode input stage later( 6AU6's perhaps)
