EL34s require more drive voltage than the "12" W. types do. Therefore, you can't use that setup.
There are "flaws" in the design. The paraphase splitter employed is out of favor, for good reason. Driving UL mode "finals" with a high plate resistance type is not a good thing. Can you say slew limiting? :> (
For EL34 "finals", work from a well proven design. EICO's HF-87 (self bias) and HF-89 ("fixed" bias) are reasonable implementations of Mullard style circuitry, which could be a good point of departure for you.
