I could have gone to 15K:500 and that theoretically is a better one, but realize that MagneQuest is very conservatively rated, and the 5K primaries are really good to 15K and the 15K primaries are really good to probably three times that.I wanted about 10 dB in step down, not losing too much gain here. The 15K would have lost more gain than I would accept. So I tried 5K and liked it.
