Hi,
I'd like to know which taps or electrical points I should use on the amp boards of SCA-35 so that I can feed preamp signals from my preamps or CD players to its wonderful amp sections?
My idea is to use my EICO HF-85 pre to drive the amp section to try and see how things work out. I have read a shoot-out (comparison) betweent eh HF-81 and the SCA-35. It was found that the SCA-35 had better performing output transformers but in real use, the active tone circuits of the HF-81 excels the SCA-35 so the HF-81's overal performance is often perceived as better.
No what if I can join the best of both a pre and an amp?
Terence
