Hi Freddy, remember the voltage on the tube is actually between the cathode and plate. Don't go fixed bias, cathode is more dynamic. Calculate for a lower draw after measuring all voltages, and see what it is you acually have in terms of plate dissipation now. Some tubes will show plate glow at below rated levels, indicating a problem with internal construction geometries- replace that 1 tube, don't change your whole amp! Tony
