Hey...I have a pair of Sansui Output trannys from an old rarely seen receiver, the sm-30. I was looking for a decent 6bq5 amp to build (something simple as my experience is limited) and decided on a pair of Eico HF-14 clones I do not know the primary impedance of the trannys, only that they were used with 6bq5's in the receiver so I figured they must be a match.
In any case I was looking over the schematic for the HF-14 and noticed that these OP transformers do not have a center tap, or at least it doesn't show the usual hook-up for them.
My question is about using these Sansui Trannys which have center taps...
Can I just ignore them? Will this change anything in the rest of the circuit?
and while I am at it...is there maybe another elementary build for these trannys I overlooked...there seems to be a shortage of 6BQ5 circuits that I could find on the web?
Thanks as always...
