After looking at the manual's schematic (the one I later posted on my previous thread), I now see what my confusion over one of the channels' cathode resistor was about. You metioned it I believe, but it didn't hit me right away.
If you look at the thing, the place where it indicates that the cathode is connected through pins 4 and 5 of the 12AX7, it REALLY looks like notation for a 54 ohm resistor. Whew...glad I don't have to track one of THOSE down. : )
