Also while you are at it replace the two rectifier diodes, new ones are infitely better. The Citation PS kit Jim Mcshane offers works wonderfully in the HF87-89. If you want to maintain origional looks the origional can caps can be left topside (disconnected) and the new smaller Panasonic can electrolytics can be mounted on under side of the chassis, or if origional looks is not important the old cans can be removed and the new electrolytics can be mounted topside.
