RE: Will This Input Circuit Work with PP 6B4G?

I agree with russ57. I tried this type of circuit back in 89. I did not like the way it sounded. I was using it to replace the split load phase inverter in a Williamson type circuit. The circuit that you are looking at will be drive larger capacitive loads with a 6l6 than the 6sn7 driver I was working with. In my specultive opinion there is a greater timing difference between phase halfs with this circuit than most other phase inverters. To me sounded smeared. regards Tom
