The other HF-81 is my main office system amp and it just really sings! I think the transformers from this vintage EICO gear were really excellent. You know, this little amp does more great things than many of the heavy hitters out there. It's little underachiever that never ceases to amaze me with its musicality as well as guts.
I have always wondered what those HF-20 sounds like stock. I cant believe how nice yours appear, even though they are a far cry from what they once were. Did you ever listen to them stock?
