I followed the recipe and had the lm337 mounted on the chassis with an insulator and after a couple of weeks it failed. Dunno why. Maybe a voltage spike. It was an amp that i built for an audio buddy so, who knows what went on at his house. Replace it with a cathode resistor and that was ok.
