I do not think that lower DCR chokes and/or tranny produce substantially improvements. More important are the plate choke and the output tran.
I'd have elimintated the input capacitor (pure choke filter sounds better than "quasi-choke" filter...but this imposes to adopt an idoneus "first choke").
