For me, just 'getting it to work' was really a hard work. I understand what you mean but to follow your tip, huge choke DCR and power tranny are needed, making too heavy an amplifier. It is now almost 40 pounds per channel.I will try to remove the choke one each per tube(I hope to feel the difference to encourage myself ..) and try to get the bias..or build all again?
