whats the gain of a triode wired 6V6???i have a hunch that -9V will not give you much headroom... using a choke load will increase that headroom at all but the lowest frequencies...
do the math backwards and remember a tube biased at -9V will give you roughly half that rms with 3db of headroom.
do you have a pointer to nouri's amp???
