Re: Dumb Question-What drives what in a mini-dual triode in SRPP?

I guess that I need to give a little more info.

When looking at the pins on mini-dual triode (12ay7 for the Bugle 45) the number one pin is to the left of the gap and the nine pin to the right.

pins 4,5 and 9 are heaters (I think). Pins 1,2, and 3 are plate, grid, cathode for triode section 2 and pins 6,7, and 8 are the same for triode section 1.

When wiring the SRPP circuit, as in the Bugle 45, which grid do I connect to the input signal- section 1's or 2's. It makes sence that it would be 1, but I want to make sure.

Again, thanks in advance
