nice little srpp se 45 amp from JE Labs

Found an old schematic in my files for a srpp 45 se amp from JE Labs. I breadboarded it (see photo, and I really like the sound of it. I have attached a schem that is for a JE Labs srpp se 2a3 because I was not able to find an electronic version of the 45 amp. It is basically the same schem with the following differences for the 45 version:

Use 45, 245 or 345 output tube

B+ is 335vdc

resistor going from B+ to top plate of 6sl7 is 24k

cathode resistor of 45 should be 1.5k

I did not use an audionote opt, just a Hammond 125ese using the 5k primary.

I did not use the resistors in the "notes", I just used what I had.

I have not bread boarded the 2a3 version, but my guess is it would sound very good too as they are so similar.

You can see from the schematic and the pic of the breadboard that it is a very low parts count unit and easy to build. I put the first channel together on the breadboard in about 45 minutes taking my time.
