I was referring to the 45 with the low bias comment. For the 7b4 I would like to look at a schematic of a successful amp, in order to implement it, or spend weeks experimenting. Perhaps you could send me one.
My 45 amp now uses a 7a4, cap coupled, with a choke loaded PS. Changing it to a DC 7b4 will be fairly simple. Though I like the sound as is, the low gain often needs an active gain stage from a preamp.
