My good friend Dennis Fraker ( Serious Stereo, Livingston, MT ) used to correspond with Nobu regularly in the early early years. Nobu couln't afford to buy WE 300Bs, too expensive, so it was with Dennis' guidance that Nobu developed the tube lineup to use inexpensive 811s as a Finals tube. In essence, these two guys co-developed the precursor of the Wavac Music Dandy circuit. This was long ago !! Interesting.
