So I found my answer. I rebuilt my 2a3 amp into a 45. The output transformers are wrong but the results beat the published pecs for a 45. The driver is an x7 run in a very linear operating point. This is a conventional dc amp with 500v B+ 250v on the 45 and -50v bias.The graph is taken at 1 watt wih the second harmonic -30db.
