Or have selectable values to provide for better matched EQs (lp to lp), which IME can vary greatly. BTW, I'm not suggesting switching in a different value for each recording it's safe enough to categorise recordings into broad groups. This really works and can make even the worst sounding LPs at least enjoyable.
