What I meant was, you will need to drive the small grid resistor, if you use one, from a small source impedance for best results, otherwise you load down the preceding piece of gear, line stage, CD player, whatever.Inductive grid loads are nifty with this tube for their low DCR and still keeping a high AC impedance. (I know I'm preaching to the choir here.)
