Of course well mastered reel-to-reel, or CD or vinyl is better. Is anyone arguing that they're not? Doesn't mean you can't get great sounds from cassette tape. I won't live long enough to listen to the bazillion tracks on all those streaming services. So tapes are just fine, as I spend too much time fiddling with the digital cloud as it is.
Are your opinions keeping you happy and healthy? Yes? Great! For others, who may have different opinions, cassette tape brings great enjoyment and a decent audio community with peers of a similar age - and getting younger! Lots of new and unusual sounds on cassette, and some older ones too, but it won't prop up one's audiophile self-esteem, so don't look for that. Fun? Yes. ;^)
