$600 for a sealed 3-3/4 IPS reel?

While browsing through eBay, I found an optimistic seller who is asking $599.99 for a sealed 3-3/4 IPS Art Pepper "Smack Up" reel. Wow! There is no mention of gaurantee that the tape will play without drop outs, etc.
The seller has other slow speed reels for sale, ridiculously priced, for those interested. :)
