Assuming there are similar mounting arrangement between heads and that you get the (new) connections right go ahead and try it.
If the new head has a significantly different inductance (lots more, or less, turns of wire) then it's output may be greater, or lower and the high frequencies (HF) may be too bright, or reduced. To remedy the HF situation, look to see if the Revox? playback amplifier circuitry has an HF equalization adjustment. It should - and tweaking that should get the highs to sound just fine. Oh, and it's an AC current.
