Awhile back sold a nice Nak ZX-7 to a buddy that had been bugging me for it for ages and offered a nice price. Since my recording had dwindled to almost nothing, and I have a Nak CR-1A for playback(nice deck, BTW) I decided to make him happy and get him off my back. Not long after, a restored 2 head Nak 580 came across my radar for a reasonable price and not far from me, so decided to get it. What a wonderful deck it is! Definitely a winner for PB and not a bad recorder at all. In fact, I was having so much fun recording live shows and DL's from various places, that when a restored Nak RX-505 became available, I couldn't resist. It's a winner with it's unidirectional auto-reverse (a blast to watch) is great for recording as well as playback.
Man the tape bug has really hit me hard lately. Hope it's not catching.
