Room Comments/Treatments: Room is nicely balanced and warm sounding with reflections from hard surfaces well diffused or damped.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Big-orchestra Classical and film; some jazz.
System Goals/Comments: Large-scale, very extended, concert-hall-natural sound with plenty of bottom-octave energy and real warmth and bloom.
System Strengths: I achieved my goals.
System Weaknesses: Haven't gotten the main bass-roomnode tamed.
Video/HT System: Integrated
TV/Projector: Epson 5040UB projector (pixel-shifted UHD3840, HDR, 3D but never watch the latter).
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Marantz, above.
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): Mains, CC, and surrounds listed above.
Sources (DVD/VCR): Panasonic 4K disc player for movies.
Other HT Gear: Panavision-ratio (2.35:1) Severtson screen 96" wide (NOT diagonal) with 42-degree lateral viewing angle.
Comments on HT System: WOW! Second-best home-theater system I've ever seen or heard and 2nd-best-resolution projected image I've ever seen.
