Use Monarchy Classic DIP with Yamaha in order to convert optical to BNC and reclock the jittery signal. Jolida is used direct and with Nixon DAC. Other Accessories/Room/Misc.: Speaker Cables/Interconnects: 16 gauge no-name speaker cable. No name interconnects Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): Surge protector Tweaks: Various tubes Room Size (LxWxH): 20' x 14' x 9' Room Comments/Treatments: Bare floor with throw rug, some soft furniture - fairly live Music Preferences and Comments: Music Used (Genre/Selections): Jazz, Current Electronica, Reggae, Classical. Brit pop System Goals/Comments: Sweet, tubey, detailed and real sounding. Eico is better at voices, Charlize better at absolute detail and bass. System Strengths: Easy to listen to, can be very engaging System Weaknesses: Bottom end a bit murky at times, Eico requires TLC due to age. Speaker size makes them akward to place - tradeoff is the excellent tube/horn combination Video/HT System: None
