Hello out there,I own the drivers from the old Tannoy Buckingham M2000 monitors with one 10†dual concentric midrange/tweeter (type 2548) and two 12†(type 3126) woofers per side. The system is crossed at 350 Hz and 3000 Hz.
The woofers lack punch, and I will definitely substitute them with something else at some point. However, I not sure whether I should keep the 10†dual concentric as part of a new system. The 10†dual concentric midrange/tweeter excel - at least to some extent - in the areas I regard highly (clarity, details, dynamics, good voices, and efficiency).
Are these drivers still good enough for what I want, or can it get a lot better (se preferences above)?
I would really appreciate your advice!
Thanks!
Regards
pk
