I´ve auditioned the Sonus Faber Grand Piano Home extensively but am not sure of it´s capabilities, I find the bottom and top being somewhat pronounced compared to the midrange. Voices for example don´t sound as alive as I wish, and while the bass is definately impressive it seems to get in the way of the rest of the spectra. Now, I know someone selling a pair of the old ProAc Response 3, has anyone compared them to the SF GP Home? How would you charachterise the difference? Which one is the better speaker in your ears?
I would be grateful for some input as I cannot audition easily. I would power them with 20-30W PP EL34 (either UL penthode or triode).
TIA
mikke
