Paul,Actually, it was the sale of the Classe amp for a down payment on a house that led me to the Stan Warren GFA-5400. I am presently using a GFP-565 as a preamp, but am looking possibly to a passive pre (no response for this necessary...:). The sound I am getting now exceeds what I had with the Classe.
