I did what you should do, which is search at www.worldradiohistory.com

The closest direct match I found was a classified ad for one of the publications you reference. :) This wasin March 1978 Audio .

I did turn up a few "Iverson" things at Stereophile but most if not all are from the '80s and are for other products - see link below.
You might oughta do some sleuthing. "Chance favors the prepared mind." :)
I will say, FWIW: 1) for a loudspeaker to transduce electrical power into acoustic power (which is what they do), something has to move and 2) if it was a breakthrough, it would still be on the market in some way,shape, or form. Maybe it is...?
