and I now feel a little guilty that I did a lot of shell collecting in the 60s. Just like my speaker collection, the shells are in a box in the basement 50+ years later. What I should have concentrated on was underwater photography and left the shells stay where they were.
The waters off Abaco look so clear and beautiful too. That must have been a great vacation. I cannot dive anymore due to sinus abuse, but my dive gear is still in the basement too.
As far as speaker suggestions go, I have never had the money or approval to purchase anything in the OP's price range. For $375 at an estate sale a few years back, I did see a pair of Altec Lansing A5X speakers, but I didn't have the room at my house. I mentioned these speakers on the vintage asylum at the time to see if anyone else was interested.
