That list is basically all my considerations. My space is small, not much room from the wall, ideal placement isn't really an option. Kevin Scott at LV thought from the pics I sent they would work with some placement and other tweaks...but it's a big risk.
I think I'll just stick with what I've got until I either have a better space and I have more options, or I can at least get a listen some how. At least I know what I've got, they fit the space and sound pretty good. My dealer when I bought them said I have the resolution of a speaker 3 times the price, just not the bass. I don't think I have the room or patience for a sub set up though. Good thing I'm not a bass freak, but it might make them sound a little fuller.
