Audax out of business?

Audax was taken over by AAC Acoustic Applications in 2019. Site stated some products will be offered soon. Been two years and nothing.
Audax titanium dome tweeters have been used by some higher end speaker manufactures including Wilson and Revel. It may be once the titanium dome tweeter stocks run out from Madisound (USA) & Solen (Canada), direct replacements for your expensive speakers will not be available.

Installing a different tweeter in your speaker requires a crossover redesign for correct tweeter output and use of same 8 ohm, not 6 ohm tweeters.

If replacing the tweeter with another brand it must be same 8 ohms or crossover frequency shifts. The resistor used in series must be changed to match the old Audax tweeter output. Although not a metal dome Audax TW025 series, the Scan Speak D2608/9130 is as close as I could find. Lower the series resistor value to get an additional 3dB output to equal the Audax. The Audax is 3.960 vs Scan Speak 4.09 inch diameter. May have to 'scrape out' the mounting hole.

Audax older AW025 titanium series replacement at Madisound is the AW025A28 while stocks last at $105.95 each.
