Yeah, the horn on the Abbey is much bigger than the speaker mentioned in this thread.
The integration of the Suma/Abbey approach is no doubt much better than the totaldac approach. But the basic concept is not that far out in left field.
Geddes considered the 15" driver the proper match to the waveguide in the Suma speaker because it narrowed to meet the waveguide optimally. At least in his way of implementing it.
