Yeah, that would be an inherent characteristic of a true point-source radiator. Among other characteristics.
Unfortunately, the term "point-source" has been 'marketed' into a different meaning than its accurate, acoustic definition. We already have a number of examples in this very thread. :)
Such is the case with a variety of terms (now) misused in the audiophile/high-end industry.
