Follow-up subwoofer question

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

As well as placement, my SVS 20-39 PC+, is aesthetically part of the problem. WAF is steering me toward a box sub. I was looking at the Rhythmic E15HP. It's about the same width, much lower, and the added depth isn't really a problem.

I sent Rhythmic a question about suitability for my room which is over 6000 cubic ft. They said the sealed sub wouldn't work for me. Why? Is a ported sub better for large space?

I'm intrigued by the servo design, thinking it might give me sharper bass.
