#1, When audiophiles reach out to me, they hardly talk about sports.#2, When they do talk about sports, they hardly ever mention hockey and the NHL.
#3, The few who do bring up hockey seem to be from Toronto. Thus, they are biased against Totem Acoustic, who are from Montreal. In all my years as an audiophile, I don't recall anyone ever bringing up the Winnipeg Jets.
#4, When I was in college in the early-90s, I loved hockey, but it was, here in California, rarely on. Once in a while, ESPN would broadcast a game. My cable TV providers did not show Hockey Night in Canada.
#5, I loved Teppo Numminen, who got me into the Winnipeg Jets. And then, in 92-93, rookie Teemu Selanne tore it up!
#6, In the early-90s, whenever I took public transportation between home and UC Santa Cruz, I saw construction of the Shark Tank. The Sharks played their first two years at the Cow Palace. I never did see a Sharks game there.
#7, The last time San Francisco had a hockey team was the short-lived Bulls. They played at the Cow Palace.
