A future post will cover the Sky's interactions with speaker cable(s). But the first time I encountered the awful stair-step bi-wire binding posts was in 1996, when my then-girlfriend ACS and I borrowed a Sonus Faber Concertino. She turns everything into a joke. Whether our speaker cables had spades or bananas, ACS observed all of the odd angles, and she quipped that they were "worse than awkward sex."
According to the spec diagram, those angled spades have a 9mm opening. Maybe they'd work, when attached to, for example, Kimber 4TC (which is a good match for the Sky). But then again, the standard Kimber banana works exceedingly well into the stair-step posts.
The opening on these AudioQuest spades is 8mm. These do not fit onto the shaft of the Sky's binding posts.
If the 8mm AQ spade won't work, neither will Tara Labs' 7mm-wide spades. Use their screw-on bananas instead.
XLO's spades are 6mm wide, but one of the legs can fit into the hole in the binding post's shaft. Not ideal, but beats having to send the cable back to XLO, for re-termination.
