Will I need a subwoofer?

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

Thinking about getting a pair of ML 13A's. They are rated down to 24 Hz.
They contain 2 10" powered woofers. Listening room is large, open space.

I currently have a SVS PC subwoofer which is pretty tall and obvious to my wife. The only thing she's had problems with in my setup.

Will I miss the sub?
