Thank-you, very astute. I have some fast subs that cut in about 40 Hz, I will try them with the Yamaha's. Part of what I was hearing seems to be going away, the speakers had probably not been used in some time, maybe the crossover caps are recovering. Or it is me, I have had this happen before, something new starts to sound better after a few days.
