Qts = 0.31
Opting for SBB4 alignment would give you 1.17 ft^3 box volume and f3 = 47 Hz.

To build a subwoofer with the cone and box dimensions you're looking for, that only needs to be flat to 50 Hz, I still think you would be better off going sealed.
