I've driven the Revels with a 70 watt class A ss monos (Monarchy Audio SM70), a 30 watt class A ss (Pioneer M-22) and over a hundred watt tubed monos (VTL) and in my small room, with my music and normal listening levels (sub 85dB on average) I didn't really feel any amp drove the speakers better than the others.
I preferred the VTL over the other two amps, but that may just be my preference for a tubed amp with the Revels. I'm curious as to how the Cary will compare with them.
