RE: Adding subs to my system

I would just get a Sublime Acoustic K231 crossover and use it as a three way with your choice of crossover frequencies, with the lowest bass going to a pair of quality subs.
Now I wouldn't recommend this method if you weren't already bi-amping with an outboard crossover, but as you are doing it, you should go all the way and tri-amp IMHO.

The K231 crossover sounds absolutely fantastic, smooth transparent and unobstrusive, after a few weeks of constant use (when I got mine brand new, it was harsh and nasal. Many quality film caps in there so it takes a bit of break-in to sound good).
