I don't need a lecture on basic electricity. And you should read my post more closely.Put your AC voltmeter between the black speaker post and AC line neutral (or earth) and you will see no voltage.
Put your AC voltmeter between the red speaker post and AC line neutral (or earth) and you will 'not' see no voltage.The reason current flows back and forth in this circuit is because of the change in potential on the red post....not the black one.
