RE: Multi drivers

The closest thing to your description is the largest Canadian Reference 3A speaker, the Grand Veena or the Seema Zen, multiple drivers with minimal crossovers.

I believe the old Rectilinear 7 was a multi way with minimal crossover from the 1970s.

But crossovers matter. A great crossover design(not easy to do) is usually the difference between even a good speaker and a great one, more important than the drivers even.
