Okay so after a loooong wait I finally received all capacitors for my little confinement project.
I'm pleased with the outcome; I was fearing a shift in tonality, replacing old electrolytic with MKP - but to my surprise the sound is actually less bright than it used to be - the result of cleaner high frequencies making these ultimately less brash.
More details, better imaging, more air - those 30$ flea market speakers are even more pleasing now. I even expect things to get a little bit better with some burn in.
Here's the crossover with the old caps (as you can see it is extremely basic!)
