Tuneful bass.
Maybe the wrong word.
Think of the quality of midrange of a pair of Quad ELS speakers.
That kind of fine quality into the bass range.
To many subs and speakers with powerful bass don't have that fine quality.
Mostly power without fineness.
The ability to hear the detail of the notes as notes and not smushed together notes. I'm not talking about getting punched in the chest bass.
Very difficult to explain. Once you hear it then you would understand.
Lack of overhang as the speaker builder says it is.
I can play music at a volume level so low it doesn't register on
a Ratshack meter because it is below 50 dbs.
The lowest that meter can hear, but I can.
Sorry the picture is so poor.
High gloss black items are so hard to get the lighting correct.
Reflections are awful.
